Pasta is one of the world’s most beloved of comfort foods and has been a part of the Mediterranean Diet since ancient Greece. Misko #6 Spaghetti is delicious cooked al dente and paired with any manner of sauce: from a classic aglio e olio (garlic and olive oil) or alle vongole (garlic, clams and parsley) to Marinara, Bolognese, Puttanesca, pesto, all’arrabiata, Carbonara – and of course, meatballs! In Greece, “macaronada,” or spaghetti, is often served with a hearty, thick tomato and ground meat sauce seasoned with cinnamon, allspice and cloves.
